• CALDWELL POTTER – “….remains a high-class prospect for novice chases…..stepping up in distance looks sure to suit….” – he won the novices’ handicap at Cheltenham (@ 7/1) and the Mildmay Novices’ Chase at Aintree (@ 11/4)
• THE NEW LION – “The New Lion looks to be another smart prospect for the Dan Skelton stable. • MYRETOWN (Lucinda Russell) – “A former Point-to-Point winner, he is very unexposed and remains capable of considerable improvement (from his mark of 123).” – won 3 times over fences, including when landing a gamble in the Ultima at Cheltenham (@ 13/2 (had been 33s the previous week).
